Today, I’d like to share a few reflections from the recent bi-monthly event held at Hondarake, Sydney’s largest Japanese second-hand bookstore, where I offered mini Crystal Reading sessions.
I was grateful that several people were curious enough to stop by and experience a session.
Each participant was invited to silently ask the crystals a question in their heart and then choose the one they felt most drawn to from a collection of different crystals laid out before them.
Some hovered their hands over the crystals, quietly listening to their inner voice before making a choice. Some knew exactly which crystal they would choose the moment they sat down. Others took their time, carefully looking over each one before deciding.
Everyone’s approach was different.
What they all had in common, however, was that they seemed to be guided by the wisdom that already existed within them.
It left me with a strong sense that, somewhere deep inside, they already knew which crystal they were meant to choose.
The crystals come in all shapes and sizes—large and small, polished and smooth, or rough and natural. I always choose which crystals to bring on the morning of each session.
Interestingly, there are times when I feel drawn to bring a crystal that hasn’t appeared very often in previous sessions.
More often than not, that crystal ends up being chosen by someone during the day.
Perhaps it is simply a coincidence. But I have come to treasure those moments.
Perhaps…
The right time arrives when it is needed.
The right crystal is chosen.
The right message finds its way through me to the person who needs to hear it.
I feel honoured to witness those moments when coincidence quietly becomes something meaningful.
At the same time, I never take that role lightly. Whenever I facilitate a session, I do my best to listen carefully and share the messages I receive from the crystals as faithfully as I can. I am always mindful that the words I choose can shape how the message is received, and I want to honour each person’s experience with care.
I believe the answers already exist within each of us.
Deep down, we already know those answers.
They simply rest beneath the surface of our awareness, which is why we often feel that we don’t know them.
When a person’s awareness meets the crystal they have chosen, it can become the beginning of reconnecting with those answers.
As a facilitator, I read the crystals while gently supporting each person in reconnecting with the wisdom that already lives within them.
My hope is that these crystals may become quiet signposts whenever someone finds themselves searching for direction.
